I am having trouble here today, we had a power cut over the weekend and
our servers went down. I have rebooted the Smoothwall server, but cannot get remote access to it through the web browser, it comes back with Access Denied. I have not had any trouble with it before, but I just can't get in I have tried from several network machines. I can log in at the consile under root, but can't figure out where the access controls are. Web Access to the Smoothwall Control Panel is on port 81 (ie http://<smoothwall_hostname>:81) The User ID is "admin", the password will have been set by however setup the smoothie. As far as I know, you can't get to the Control panel from the server console. Are you getting any error messages on the console as it boots? Hope this helps...
