Is the Debian Bible still the best Debian book for half a decent
sysadmin who need to know the Debian way?

i think this book is about the best out of three similar books which i have.

I'm also looking for a Postgres book for people who know the basics already. It'd be good if it had pl/pgsql and plperl in it.

this was not easy - i tend to use the web docs at postgresql.org

Oh, and a decent SQL book for someone who wants to learn a bit more than select, insert, update.

'instant SQL' by * celko. basic and to the point. if you want to know about standard SQL (92).

HTH - kev

Any ideas?

Steve
