Still the rate of development is such that this will become less and
less of a problem as time progresses!

Most of the hardware support issues like that are because of
rate of development.

The secret is usually to keep the kernel up to date if you need
to support novel hardware.

It will get better when more vendors supply drivers to support
their own hardware on Linux, rather than relying on people doing
it out of need or desire.
