7.0 is on glibc, but I think I loaded a later glibc than came on
the CD's that didn't have it in, probably by then it was in
common, since then I've built gcc from source for some reason I
can't recall, but I'm sure it was vital at the time......

Hmm I feel the need to reinstall.....
