I have a USB Logitech Quickcam which works fine. Quality is not that fantastic, but it does the job. You can get the drivers at http://sourceforge.net/projects/qce-ga/
I did that, then lookd on the machine, mod_quickcam is part of SuSE 7.2's install. Did modprobe and it reports running but not in use.
