[LUG] Half life and WInex

Hi

I have successfully installed halflife on under LInux and am running as a 
normal user. 

When I use winex hl.exe It runs but displays a MCI error,  I can get audio 
but no picture,  of the introductory sequence,  

according to the transgaming site faq I should run

winex hl.exe ?console 2toconsole ?game.mod where mod is the name of the mode 
you wish to use i.e tfc.  

I am not exactly sure what to do as if I type the above and use game.tfc I 
still get errors,  am I supposed to replace the ? with something.
