[LUG] Netscape and proxy servers

Silly question time...

What format does the list of excluded domains take in Netscape 4
on Linux?

I just caught my browser querying my proxy server for
"localhost:NNNN" URLs. 

This works but I prefer to exclude these queries from the proxy
server for various reasons....

The exclude list has a ";" delimited list include
"localhost:NNNN" where NNNN is correct, and "localhost"...
