Hmm on my Redhat 7.1 system it is normally logged to /var/log/messages

I'm assuming that iptables is forwarding the packets from your internal
network to the internet ok.

Couple of things to check.  Make sure the ipt_LOG module is loaded into the
kernel. (Use lsmod to check.)  Also try it on it's default logging level
(Warning), rather than the debug level.
