XFree 4? Maybe that, maybe I got a new mouse too. Both (old and new) are on psaux. I cant remember when it stopped doing it really, cant remember when it did do it even.

We do get the problem at exeter uni in the labs though, if the mouse is in non-microsoft mode, or if you press too many keys at the same time (IIRC). What is the pointer device set up as? PS/2? IMPS2? etc.
