That's not what they're saying. They're saying "this is mail to an invalid 
address so it has bounced".  Which is what the RFCs say they should do. 

Your beef should (IMHO) be with the originator and/or with the owner of the 
open relay, neither of whom (in the instances I've seen) are machines in 
AOL's domain.
